Profhilo contains one of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid (HA) available.
Unlike the hyaluronic acid in dermal fillers, the HA in Profhilo is in a more ‘runny’ form. This means that when injected, it spreads evenly beneath the skin, attracting water to hydrate the skin and stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, vital proteins for skin health. This dual action results in firmer, smoother and more radiant skin.
Profhilo’s versatility means that it can be used to treat various areas, including:

It is particularly effective for areas with signs of aging, such as skin laxity, fine lines and dehydration.
You will undergo a thorough consultation in clinic in order to determine whether the treatment is suitable and beneficial for you.
Profhilo treatment is administered through 10 specific injection points to cover the entire area to be treated. This is known as the Bio Aesthetic Point (BAP) technique.
There is a little bit of short lived associated stinging but numbing cream can be used to alleviate the discomfort.
Patients can typically resume normal activities immediately, though some may experience mild redness or swelling at injection sites.
Profhilo results are gradual and progressive, with optimal skin improvement observed after the second session.
Profhilo aftercare is very straightforward. Following post-treatment aftercare recommendations will ensure that your recovery is quick and treatment risks are minimised.
- Avoid exercise for 24 hours after treatment.
- Avoid excessive heat for 24 hours after treatment.
- Avoid rubbing or massaging the area for 24 hours after treatment.
- Avoid use of make-up over the puncture sites for a minimum of 6 hours; ideally wait until the following day.
- Mild redness or small bumps may occur and settle within 1-2 days.

Absolutely! Profhilo can safely be combined with other injectable treatments like anti-wrinkle injections or dermal fillers.
Because it works differently (by deeply hydrating and stimulating collagen rather than adding volume or relaxing muscles), it complements other treatments beautifully.
It can also be combined with other biostimulating treatments like Polynucleotides in order to combine both the shorter term hydrating benefits of Profhilo with the longer-term benefits of Polynucleotide regeneration.
