Skin Boosters & Biostimulators
Advanced injectable treatments designed to deeply hydrate, smooth and gradually improve skin quality, restore radiance, elasticity and long-term skin health.
Our injectable skin revitalisation treatments, including hydrating skin boosters and collagen-stimulating biostimulators, work beneath the surface to improve skin texture, elasticity and firmness, offering subtle, regenerative results that evolve naturally over time.
Injectable skin boosters and bio-remodelling treatments have been gaining increasing popularity in recent years and have become a vital component of injectable rejuvenation treatments.
These are injectable treatments designed to enhance skin hydration, elasticity and overall texture.
Unlike traditional dermal fillers that add volume:
- Skin Boosters work by delivering hyaluronic acid and other nourishing ingredients directly into the skin, improving overall skin quality, health and texture.
- Biostimulators act to boost collagen, therefore revitalising and rejuvenating the skin, without adding volume where it is not needed.
These treatments involve microinjections of hyaluronic acid and other revitalizing compounds into the superficial layers of the skin. This process stimulates collagen production, improves skin hydration and enhances skin firmness and elasticity.
TEOSYAL® REDENSITY 1
This wonderful skin booster by the Swiss company Teoxane, aims to improve overall skin quality. It exhibits a “redensification” action, meaning it helps to maintain and restore skin density. Through its unique blend of hyaluronic acid, anti-oxidants, B vitamins and amino acids, it not only helps to stimulate collagen and improve skin hydration, but it also confers protection against oxidative stress.
BELOTERO REVIVE
This skin booster by Merz Pharma is especially indicated for revitalisation of early-onset photodamaged skin.
It works by targeting the early signs of photodamage, focusing on rehydration of the skin, improvement in skin suppleness, elasticity and firmness and improving the appearance of pigmentation and fine lines. It does so through the action of its key ingredients: Hyaluronic Acid and Glycerol. Together they work as powerful hydrators, boosting skin hydration and glow from the inside out
RADIESSE
Radiesse is a dermal filler subtype which is made up of Calcium Hydroxylapatite (CaHa) instead of Hyaluronic Acid.
Although in its ‘neat’ form it is an excellent volumiser, perhaps its most exciting application is in its dilute or hyperdilute forms.
In this form, Radiesse can be administered over large areas such as the face, neck or decolletage and it has the ability to act as a very powerful spreadable biostimulator that boosts collagen production and can help lift and firm the skin.
You will undergo a thorough consultation in clinic in order to determine whether the treatment is suitable and beneficial for you.
The area is pre-treated with a fast-acting local anaesthetic cream to ensure your comfort.
Treatment involves administering the skin boosters through small precise injections, either using a fine needle or a cannula (blunt metallic tube).
Patients find they are able to continue their day as normal with no restrictions, but there may be some tenderness and visible bruising, skin bumps and swelling to take into account.
You may notice a subtle glow within the first 1-2 weeks, but improvements in texture, tone, and firmness typically develop over 4-6 weeks with continued benefits over time. Subsequent treatments further boost the results.
Typically, we will recommend 2-3 sessions for best results at 4-6 weeks apart.
You can expect the results to last for around 6-9 months with maintenance sessions recommended for ongoing benefits.
Aftercare is an important part of achieving the best results.
- Avoid exercise for 24 hours after treatment.
- Avoid excessive heat for 24 hours after treatment.
- Avoid rubbing or massaging the area for 24 hours after treatment.
- Avoid use of make-up over the puncture sites for a minimum of 6 hours; ideally wait until the following day.
- Mild redness or small bumps may occur and settle within 1-2 days.
You will receive tailored aftercare advice during your consultation.

Skin boosters are versatile and can be used to treat various areas, including:
- Face
- Neck
- Décolletage
- Hands
They are particularly effective for addressing fine lines, dullness, and dehydrated skin in these areas.
No, skin boosters are not the same as traditional dermal fillers.
While both are injectable treatments, skin boosters are designed to hydrate and improve skin quality, not to add volume or change facial shape.
They typically use a softer form of hyaluronic acid or other regenerative ingredients to enhance radiance, elasticity, and overall skin health. Think of them as a glow-from-within treatment rather than a sculpting one.
